Pamadia the Poem, Chapter 2, The Frample

In the high lee land of

      Pamadia

   midst

    the spiral mountains and

       sliding,

         Sloping,

            low-lands

Lived a most special

creature de jour

a rare animal who larked,

flew, leaped

            chortled and barked.

The fabled,

  the fabulous,

    the finicky feathered,

       flamboyantly furple,

                   The Great,

           Greater,

                     Greatest

race of

Flink Plamingos

fame !

When a Flink Plamingo goes out

For a walk and happen to meet

Some visitors who come

   To witness, a great treat

That very special trait

   they have come to sample

That marvelous event

   of a Plamingo frample

Visitors watch excitedly

   With giggles and a shout

All look on eagerly for the

            Plamingo to sprout

With great expectation

             awaiting this example,

When the famous Flink

  is about to frample.

Where as, frampling

   is the Flink’s finest trait

It’s hard to believe he can

   so completely deflate.

In a fluffy, flattened,

   rather frumpy plop,

to the onlooker’s eye,

    a fractured flop.

The Plamingo plays

   the part of parquet

(As In Floor?

   Ooh, yes! Just that way!)

Inviting all

           who will venture out,

upon those feathers

            to dance and shout.

With giggling and shouting

   as on lookers await

the amazing spectacle

   of the Plamingo’s fate..,

The Plamingo lays down

   with a joyous smile

welcomes all to come dance

   in their own silly style.

When the Plamingo comes

to the end of a frample,

All are amazed,

many are dazed,

He pulls his every

   feather in a curl,

begins to spin,

to turn, to whirl. . .

With a woof,

          a swoop, and a swirl,

a leap, a bump

   a jump, and a twirl

The puddle of furple congeals,

   in a thunderous “pop”

all and at once,

   without a stop . . .

Returns whole, complete,

             totally fine,

Best of Breed,

   top of the line,

All reconstituted right

   on the spot,

reappears the Plamingo

  believe it or not

                        That’s the

                 Flink Plamingo

                           of the

                         Pamadian

                           climeh
